Grady's Going Tribal

Hey There Ya’ll!
The Grady Group is currently in Cherokee, NC and we’re loving it! Our campground is right outside Smokey Mountain National Park.
So far, we have spent 3 days with family outside of Richmond, a few days in Salisbury, NC and now we’re here in Cherokee.

Tonight we’re going to watch an Indian Festival “Upon These Hills” with dance troupes, Indian crafts and food. And, as I’m writing this, the “men folk” are off rafting.

So far, the baby is doing great. Even on our 6 hour drives. And, praise God, we’ve only had one thing go mechanically wrong so far. The a/c in the truck went out. We’re not sure why, we haven’t had it checked out yet. But, who among us hasn’t gone on many a family trip with no a/c when we were growing up and we all survived! I think it’s a God given right for a kid to grow up with a story to tell that has the words “3 of us in the backseat” and “sweating to death” in it!

Larry is planning on taking the boys on an overnight hike / camping trip next weekend and we’re going to try to break the “Grady fishing curse” while we’re in Tennessee.

So far, this trip has been wonderful and we thank God everyday for this opportunity to spend so much time together and with the kids seeing all of His creations.

We would covet a continuation of your prayers and we would love to get emails from you too!
